This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of Business Services job roles. These individuals may have frontline management accountabilities.
Individuals in these roles carry out moderately complex tasks in a specialist field of expertise that requires business operations skills. They may possess substantial experience in a range of settings, but seek to further develop their skills across a wide range of business functions.
Entry requirements
- Minimum age: 18 years at the time of enrolment

Education pathways
- Advanced Diploma of Business
- candidates may undertake a relevant bachelor degree (or Post-graduate certificate in business with a university or higher education provider).
Exit point & award
Students that successfully complete all 12 units of competency as stated in the Course Structure will be issued with BSB50120 Diploma of Business. This qualification is recognised nationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). Students that complete some but not all of the units of competency as stated in the Course Structure may be issued with a Statement of Attainment. It will identify only those units of competence that have been completed as part of the qualification and recognised nationally under the AQF.
RPL & Credit Transfer
Fast track your qualification by gaining credit for your existing skills and prior learning. If you have relevant experience or completed units / qualifications, indicate RPL / Credit Transfer in your application.
Australian Health and Horticulture Institute Pty Ltd recognises AQF qualifications and Statements of Attainment issued by Registered Training Organisations.
